Oak Frame Lantern Lights

There are many different styles of lantern available - Traditional lantern fixtures made with solid oak frames and glass panels look fantastic and date back to Tudor times. Opening vents are not essential as a mansard or flat roof orangeries have well insulated roofs however if openers are required our preferred option is for a ‘ribbon’ lantern. This has an up stand of 300mm with top hung opening windows to allow for ventilation whilst still keeping rain out.

Lantern Choice? Our ribbon lanterns create a light airy space in the room but we can also fit ultra modern infinity designs with a floating top glass panel for an ultra slim look - usually installed on Traditional flat roof orangeries where the first floor windows in the main house are very low and the interior of the orangery has a more contemporary feel.
